Mumbai: While being a part of several major Bollywood projects, actor Adinath Kothare is currently in the spotlight. Recently, he surprised his fans by making a big announcement about his upcoming project. Adinath will soon be seen in a new web series, and the recently released promo has already caught everyone’s attention — especially his striking look in it.
Under the Zee5 Marathi Originals banner, Detective Dhananjay will soon premiere, featuring Adinath in the titular detective’s role. Interestingly, Adinath will not only be acting but also producing this series.
Two leading production houses from the Marathi industry have come together for this project — Shrirang Godbole’s Indian Magic Eye and Adinath Kothare’s Storytellers Nook Pvt. Ltd. The series brings to life the iconic character Dhananjay created by renowned novelist Baburao Arnalkar.
Adinath’s intense look and sharp detective skills in the promo have already raised curiosity — will this character unravel a new side of him on screen? Fans are eagerly waiting to find out.
Adinath Kothare shared his thoughts on the series, saying:
“Detective Dhananjay is a very special project for me. I’m playing the role of a detective for the first time, and at the same time, I’m also producing this series. It’s a little tough but an extremely interesting character to portray, as it challenges me in new ways as an actor and storyteller.”
