Actress Akshaya Naik’s role in Taskaree becomes a hot topic of discussion!

“Because of Taskaree my wish to perform action scenes was fulfilled” says Akshaya Naik

Mumbai: After making her debut in the Hindi television world and later becoming a household name through Marathi television, the beautiful actress is currently in the spotlight because of the Netflix web series Taskaree Compared to the roles she has portrayed so far, her character in Taskaree is proving to be far more significant and impactful.
After making her OTT debut with Greater Kalesh, Akshaya is once again seen on Netflix in Taskaree in a different yet equally important role. She has portrayed the character of Swati Salunkhe, a girl involved in smuggling, with absolute perfection. Taskaree begins with Akshaya’s entry, and gradually the entire world of smuggling unfolds.

Speaking about performing action scenes for the first time in Taskaree Akshaya shares,
“Playing the role of Swati Salunkhe was an amazing experience, and I was also given several action scenes, which doubled my excitement. There is a major action sequence in Taskaree, so from the time I was selected for the role, the director would remind me every week to keep practicing running, as there would be a lot of running throughout the day. I was asked to stay focused on fitness, and finally the day came when we were shooting the action scenes. A body double had been arranged for me, but since I performed most of the scenes myself, the entire team from the fight master and our director Raghav Jairath to the spot boys came forward to appreciate my efforts. I had wanted to do fight scenes for many years, and through this project, that wish finally came true.”
Through this project Akshaya also got the opportunity to work alongside Imran Hashmi, and the fact that her very first entry scene was with an actor like him has earned her praise from all quarters.In the coming days Akshaya will be seen in several new projects, and after Taskaree everyone is eager to see what new and exciting work she brings next.
