Jabb Zodiacs Met blended astrology with modern love in a very honest and relatable way: Pushpaa Panth

Mumbai: Ishika Shahi has created a new web series titled Jabb Zodiacs Met, which revolves around the 12 zodiac signs and their influence on an individual’s life. The series has been produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut Production and streams on their official YouTube channel from January 16 onwards. Pushpaa Panth plays the role of Chanda in the second episode, which revolves around the zodiac sign Cancer.
She said, “Astrology has always fascinated me, but what really intrigued me about Jabb Zodiacs Met was how it blended astrology with modern love in a very honest and relatable way. Even today, people genuinely rely on astrology when it comes to relationships and careers, so exploring it through contemporary relationships felt relevant.”
“Professionally, it also gave me a strong emotional framework to work with. My character wasn’t reacting randomly—every choice was shaped by belief, intuition, and emotional patterns, which added layers and depth,” she added.

A Virgo in real life, she plays a Cancerian in the series. Talking about the similarities she found with her character, she said, “I’m also surrounded by people with Cancer signs, so I was quite aware of the differences. Virgo is more practical, analytical, logical, and head-over-heart, whereas Cancer is sweet, sensitive, emotionally driven, intuitive, and heart-over-head.”
However, she mentioned that despite these differences, both signs share simplicity and depth, whether in love or profession. She added, “Understanding how differently they express emotions and love helped me commit fully to the character.”
Talking about her character, Pushpaa said, “My character is very sensitive yet strong—intuitive, emotionally driven, and someone who feels before she thinks, which is very much like a Cancer. But in real life, I don’t believe one zodiac sign can define a person completely.”
“I feel I’m a mix of Leo, Pisces, Virgo, and Cancer. Sometimes I’m emotional, sometimes logical; sometimes practical, sometimes rational. Humans are emotionally unpredictable, and I don’t think any single sign can fully justify that,” she added.
