It Was a Moment of Pride and Pure Joy : Devanggana Chauhan Reflects on Her ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Experience”

Mumbai: Anchor, RJ and actor Devanggana Chauhan, who was last seen in Sapnon Ki Chhalaang and has also featured in Saavi Ki Savaari and Dhadkan Zindagi Kii, recently appeared on Wheel of Fortune hosted by Akshay Kumar. The actor describes her experience on the show as “super fantastic” and filled with unforgettable moments.
Talking about being on the game show for the first time, Devanggana shared, “It was a really nice experience as I had been to such a game show for the first time. It was a fun time with Akshay Kumar and overall the experience was super fantastic.”
The actor also spoke about the pride of representing her hometown on a national platform. “When we talk about our hometown, it’s a matter of pride when they take your hometown name on national TV,” she said.

Recalling one of the most memorable moments from the show, she revealed, “When he asked me whose interview I have taken, I told him that I had taken his interview earlier 10 to 12 years ago for a movie promotion. My nickname which was Bhaukaliladki on radio, when Akshay addressed me with that name, it was a memorable moment.”
While she admits she could not win a big prize amount, Devanggana emphasised that the experience meant much more. “The emotional moment was that I was not able to win a big prize amount, but I made some amazing memories,” she said. Praising the host, she added, “Akshay Kumar addressing you with your name and hometown is a matter of pride. He is a fun and humble person and I hope everyone likes the episode.”Summing up her journey, Devanggana highlighted the joy of the experience over the outcome. “The most fun part was the overall vibe of the show and interacting with Akshay Kumar. Everything felt new and exciting since it was my first game show experience. The biggest takeaway for me is that experiences and memories matter more than winning. I will always cherish this opportunity,” she concluded.
