Dr. Priya Kaul: The mind’s vibration directly influences one’s physical condition

Mumbai: In today’s world where we often discuss “vibes” casually. However, spiritual life coach Dr Priya Kaul highlights why vibrations and energy awareness play a crucial role in overall well-being. She explains that vibrations, though not scientifically measurable, are strongly tied to our emotions, intuition, and health.
“The mind creates and regulates one’s personal vibration. Joy and happiness enhances it while anger and fear diminishes it. The mind’s vibration directly influences one’s physical condition, level of stress, and general well-being.”
She explains that tuning into vibrations requires body awareness and recognition of emotions. Positive vibrations bring feelings of calm, inspiration, clarity, and ease, while negative vibrations often create anxiety, uneasiness, fatigue, and even physical pain such as headaches or muscle aches.

Dr. Kaul says that crowded areas can particularly drain energy. “Activities and gatherings often result in congested spaces. They have the potential to be packed with dozens or hundreds of people, all of who have a unique energy field. For some people who are sensitive to energy, having to take in and process so much energy leads to being drained.”
Sharing one of her key suggestions, she adds, “Visualize a bubble of white or golden light energetically protecting your body. Picture your surroundings to be covered in a light shield that allows positivity to go in, but filters out or deflects the negativity and chaotic energy. Mentally, reinforce this shield as you enter the event and at times during it. Silently affirm, ‘I am protected. I only absorb energy that supports my well-being. Other people energy stays with them.’”
She also points to conscious breathing as a simple yet powerful practice. “When feeling overwhelmed, practice slow, deep, belly breathing. Inhale slow calm, tension, and absorbed energy while you exhale. Focus only on your breath for a minute.”
On post-event recovery, Dr. Kaul adds, “Energetically cleanse yourself by literally washing the remnants away. Baths with salt are especially effective for releasing built-up energy and restoring balance.”
