Global Music Icon King opens up about his first interaction with Shah Rukh Khan

Mumbai: King, currently on a tour of India with his new album “New Life,” is making headlines for all the right reasons. After hosting fantastic and sold-out shows in Bangalore, Jaipur, and Kolkata, King is gearing up for yet another spectacular performance in his hometown, Delhi.
While his new album steadily climbs to the top of the music charts and fans go gaga over his music, the hitmaker shared insights into his fan encounter with the “King of Hearts,” Shah Rukh Khan. In a recent interview, King opened up about his meeting with SRK, saying, “My bucket list didn’t include a wish to work with King Khan, but rather to be known by him, and I’m glad that has happened.”
King further added, “I spoke to him for the first time on a video call, and the things that man can unknowingly teach you are so vast. He is truly King Khan for a reason. He allowed me the creative liberty to follow my process and collaborate only if it feels right, not because he has to.”As soon as the interview dropped, fans eagerly awaited a collaboration between the two Kings. Recently, King collaborated with American rapper Gucci Mane for his song “We Are The Ones,” which is part of his new album, “New Life.”
