Netflix Taskaree Launch Emraan Hashmi Amruta Khanvilkar Zoya Afroz Sharad Kelkar

Mumbai: Netflix unveiled the trailer for Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web, a customs enforcement thriller starring Emraan Hashmi. At the event, Hashmi also spoke about his personal experiences with the customs department. And, the actor’s fan clubs brought the entertainment dose to the trailer launch.The series, created by Neeraj Pandey, centres on a specialised customs unit, led by Arjun Meena (Hashmi) at Mumbai International Airport. It’s assigned with dismantling an international smuggling network run by Bada Chaudhary (Sharad Kelkar).
“Customs has been a world I have always wanted to explore,” said Pandey at the press conference. The filmmaker said that this topic has been untouched by cinema, so bringing the vision to life has been exciting. Taskaree marks the third collaboration between Pandey and Netflix after the Khakee franchise. Emraan has worked with Netflix before.
