“It’s exciting to create another love story with him again,” says Sriti Jha

Mumbai: The much-awaited reunion of Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia is finally on screens with Oh Humnava Tum Dena Saath Mera, now airing on Star Plus. Produced by Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah under Studio LSD, the show brings back one of television’s most loved on-screen pairs in a fresh, emotionally layered story.
The narrative follows Aparajita, a gifted artist carrying deep emotional wounds, and Rakshit, a reserved businessman who keeps his feelings guarded. As their worlds collide, the show explores love, healing, and silent strength.
Sharing her experience of reuniting with her co-star, Sriti Jha said, “I don’t know how much I had to unlearn from working together from our previous show, but it is very comfortable to work with Shabir. It’s the most fortunate thing that can happen to any actor, to be working with him. It’s exciting to create another love story with him again. When I got to know that opposite me Shabir is playing the lead, I was happy to do the mock shoot even for a day with him. Nothing could be better.”Talking about the challenges of her role, she added, “The most challenging part is that my character just forgets what’s going on in her life and makes everyone else’s day better. All her sorrows and personal pain take a backseat when family is around her.”
