‘Bandhu’ Evokes the Timeless Bond of Ram and Lakshman

Bringing alive the heartfelt story of an unbreakable bond between two brothers and the trials that test relationships, the Marathi film ‘Bandhu’ is all set to meet audiences. National Award-winning actor Upendra Limaye and acclaimed IFFI-winning actor Jitendra Joshi, both known for taking on distinctive and challenging roles in Marathi and Indian cinema, come together for the first time for ‘Bandhu’. Renowned for their natural, realistic and powerful performances, the duo will portray an intense and deeply emotional relationship on the big screen.
Actor Rajat Bedi, who has made his mark across Hindi and South Indian cinema and carries forward a three-generation legacy in Indian cinema, is now associated with the Marathi film industry through ‘Bandhu’. He is the presenter of the upcoming Marathi film. Presented by Rajat Bedi, ‘Bandhu’ is produced by JS D Studio in association with Triflix Entertainment and is set to release in cinemas on November 20. The film is produced by Pranav Desai, Juhi Desai and Kuldeep Sunil Ojha.
Director Nitin Sindhuvijay Supekar, known for successful, entertaining and content-driven films such as Atpadi Nights and Sarla Ek Koti, has taken charge of the film’s writing, dialogues and direction. Known for his sensitive portrayal of emotional moments, Supekar brings to the screen a story that explores the many shades of brotherhood and human relationships.
The film’s music and background score have been composed by Vijay Narayan Gavande. His soulful, melodious and emotionally evocative compositions are expected to add another layer of depth to the film’s narrative.
Set in a small village, ‘Bandhu’ explores the relationship between two brothers in a way that is sure to remind audiences of the bonds they share within their own families.
