Kolkata: The official trailer of the upcoming Bengali drama film Kapal has been unveiled, offering a poignant first look at the emotionally charged story that will unfold on the big screen this September. Directed by Suvendu Ghosh and produced by Arryan Ghosh under the banner of SGF (Suvendu Ghosh Films), the film is slated for a theatrical release on 19th September 2025, with distribution by Piyali Films Kolkata.
The poster features lead actors Raja Sarkar and Sukanya Dutta in a heartfelt embrace, surrounded by a flurry of currency notes and a symbolic ₹10 Cr coin. Kapal tells the story of Kanai Majhi, a lower middle-class Toto driver living in a remote village.
