Mumbai : 27th September 2025 (Panchami) to 2nd October 2025 (Dashami). We are proud to introduce ourselves as the organizers of the 16th Durgotsab Andheri Link Road Sarbojanik Durga Puja, under the banner of the Bangla Cultural Association & Indian Bangla Club. Inspired by the spiritual values of the Ramakrishna Mission, this unique celebration is recognised as the only Sanatan Satvik Jagrut Puja in Mumbai, performed with complete devotion, purity, and inclusiveness. This year, our Puja holds a special focus on community upliftment and social responsibility. The organizing committee has taken the initiative to extend a helping hand towards underprivileged women, widowed women, and senior women, offering them support, respect, and dignity through various welfare activities. “As part of this year’s celebrations, we are privileged to host a special felicitation ceremony on 27th September 2025, in honor of Padma Bhushan Mithun Chakraborty ji, recognizing his illustrious journey and invaluable contribution to Indian cinema as the recipient of the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award. This moment will be both historic and a source of immense pride for the Bengali community across India and the world.
Adding to the grandeur, the traditional Dhakis from the rural regions of Bengal will bring the authentic festive rhythm to Mumbai. Visitors will experience the magnificence of a fully air-conditioned mandap the only one of its kind in Mumbai with a dedicated puja space, dining area, and entertainment stage under one roof Every day, Bhog will be served by leading Bollywood celebrities and respected citizens, making the Puja not only a spiritual gathering but also a platform to spread awareness, showcase cultural richness, and contribute meaningfully towards society.
