Prateik Chaudhary Calls Association with Ekta Kapoor a Proud Milestone

Mumbai: Actor Prateik Chaudhary was recently signed by Balaji Telefilms, and the young actor is very excited and happy about it. Sharing more about Ekta Kapoor and Mohammed Nagaman Lateef, the talent head of Balaji Telefilms, Prateik says, “One fine day, I received a call from Mohammad Nagaman and the team at Balaji Telefilms saying they wanted to sign me exclusively. Honestly, I didn’t even have to think twice—I immediately said yes. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be associated with Balaji Telefilms and Ekta Kapoor ma’am? It was truly a proud and exciting moment for me. While growing up, I have seen my mother and almost everyone in my family watching blockbuster shows from Balaji.”
How has the journey of being with Balaji been so far? “I believe the impact of working with Balaji has already begun. I’ve worked on multiple projects so far and even received the Best Jury Award. There are many more exciting projects lined up. Being associated with Balaji Telefilms has definitely opened up bigger opportunities and helped me grow professionally.”
So far, Prateik has been part of three projects under Balaji—Silent Sikhari (Story TV app) / Khamosh Shikari (Kutting app), A Secretary Ka Boss Pati (Story TV app), and Gold Digger (Story TV app). Recently, he was also honored with the Best Jury Actor Award 2026.
Talking more about the association, Prateik says, “I’ve known Mohammed Nagaman since 2023, when he invited me to the International Iconic Awards and honored me with the Best Fresh Face of Indian Television Award 2023. While I may not know him very deeply on a personal level, I can genuinely say that he is a pure soul and a kind-hearted person who supports and encourages talent. What I’ve learned the most is the importance of discipline, consistency, and teamwork. If you look at Ekta Kapoor ma’am and Mohammad Nagaman, they have been in the entertainment industry for years and are still doing incredibly well. What stands out is that they don’t grow alone—they grow with their entire team, including actors, directors, and crew members. That has taught me that consistency and teamwork are the keys to sustaining yourself in this industry. I hope the work I have done under the banner receives good viewership and reaches a wide audience, and that we continue to work more closely together.”
