Anjana Sukhani Recalls Going to the Same School as Irrfan Khan, Looks Back at the Interactions with the Actor During ‘Sunday’ Shoots

Mumbai: Anjana Sukhani, who was recently seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Main Vaapas Aaunga, has previously shared the screen space with the legendary actor Irrfan Khan in Sunday (2008) and Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns (2013). Recently, the actress recalled working alongside Khan and also looked back at a wholesome memory of realising that the two went to the same school in Jaipur.
“Irrfan is also from Jaipur, and he’d also been to the same school that I’ve been to. I came to know about it quite later when we were having a conversation while working on Sunday and even during Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns. I did a song in that but I had very little interaction with him. We’d used to sit and chat during ‘Sunday’. And we realised that we’d been to the same school in Jaipur, St. Paul’s,” shares Anjana.
“He was a super senior to me, but just the idea that there was something common between us was like a nice talking point. It was wonderful to watch him,” she says and admits that the entire industry misses the personality that he is. “He was a great artist with intense eyes; he didn’t have to say much, his eyes did all the talking,” she expressed admiration towards Khan and simply concluded with “Everybody misses him a lot for sure.”
