Madhya Pradesh : Financial Literacy Camp Conducted for Women in Mhow

indore /Mhow : A special Financial Literacy Camp was successfully held at Gayakwad Anganwadi, Mhow, under the guidance of Dr. Sandhya Vyas, Joint Director, Women and Child Development Department. The initiative was designed to equip local women with essential financial knowledge and skills, including savings, budgeting, inflation awareness, and long-term planning.
The camp was organised by Bharat Ki Beti Foundation, a grassroots organisation dedicated to womenтАЩs empowerment and financial inclusion. The session was led by Moksh Sanghvi, a committed volunteer of the Foundation, who delivered the training in a simple, interactive, and engaging manner.
Participants were introduced to practical tools for money management, goal-based savings strategies, and planning for a financially secure future. The camp featured open discussions, Q\&A sessions, and real-life examples to help demystify financial concepts and ensure active participation.
Project Officer Ms. Ishita Masamia, Supervisor Mrs. Arjita Yadav, Mrs. Rajni Khandelwal and Mrs. Asha Thakur from the Women and Child Development Department were specially present in the camp. On this occasion, officials of the Women and Child Development Department also participated and inspired women to become self-reliant. This camp is a proof of strong partnership between the government and social organizations, which aims to promote financial self-reliance of women at the community level.
Speaking on the occasion, officials from the Women and Child Development Department emphasised the importance of financial literacy in achieving true womenтАЩs empowerment at the grassroots level.
