Gaurav Bajpai and Ankita Bahuguna joins the cast of Sun Neo’s Thodi Si Umeed, Thoda Sa Aasaman Alongside Aarti Birajdar
Mumbai: After introducing viewers to Vaidehi’s inspiring spirit, Sun Neo has now unveiled a brand-new promo of its upcoming show Thodi Si Umeed, Thoda Sa Aasman, offering a glimpse into the lives of three important characters Vaidehi, Abhijeet, and Anupriya. Set against the backdrop of a beauty cream advertisement shoot in a village, the promo beautifully highlights the contrast between appearances and reality while hinting at the emotional dynamics that will shape the story ahead.
The promo begins when a state transport bus suddenly stops as passengers notice a glamorous beauty cream shoot taking place in the middle of the village road. Amid the excitement, Vaidehi, played by Aarti Birajdar, steps out of the bus hoping to make her way through the crowd. There she notices Anupriya, played by Ankita Bahuguna, shooting for the advertisement. Dressed as a simple village girl in the commercial, Anupriya impresses everyone with her confidence and charm. Vaidehi too admires her simplicity and self-assurance.
The shoot is being directed by Abhijeet, played by Gaurav Bajpai, who is seen praising Anupriya and admiring her beauty. However, the promo takes an interesting turn when Vaidehi accidentally discovers Anupriya’s real appearance behind the makeup. As the promo unfold, Abhijeet’s attention remains fixed on Anupriya, while Vaidehi quietly observes everything from a distance. The promo subtly introduces a triangle of emotions, leaving viewers curious about how these three lives will become connected.
Speaking about her character Vaidehi, Aarti Birajdar said, “Vaidehi is someone who sees goodness in people and never judges anyone by their appearance. In this promo, we see her getting impressed by Anupriya’s confidence and simplicity, but at the same time she experiences emotions that many people can relate to. What I love about Vaidehi is that she always chooses dignity and self-respect over complaints. Her journey is inspiring because she keeps moving forward despite challenges, and I am excited for audiences to witness her story.”
Sharing his thoughts on playing Abhijeet, Gaurav Bajpai said, “Abhijeet is a very interesting character. He is ambitious, confident, and deeply attracted to glamour and perfection. In this promo, viewers get a glimpse of his admiration for Anupriya and the way he sees the world. As the story progresses, audiences will discover many more layers to his personality. I’m excited to bring this character to life and I hope viewers enjoy watching his journey.”
Talking about her role, Ankita Bahuguna said, “Anupriya is confident, strong-minded, and knows her worth. She carries herself with a lot of self-belief and doesn’t depend on validation from others. This promo introduces viewers to her glamorous world while also revealing a different side of her personality. There are many interesting shades to Anupriya, and I’m looking forward to audiences getting to know her as the story unfolds.”
With relatable emotions, engaging characters, and an inspiring protagonist at its heart, Thodi Si Umeed, Thoda Sa Aasman promises to be a heartfelt story about dreams, self-belief, and finding one’s place in the world. Stay tuned as Thodi Si Umeed, Thoda Sa Aasman unfolds soon, only on Sun Neo.
