Have to save country from dictatorship,’ says Delhi CM after spending 50 days in Tihar
Arvind Kejriwal’s first statement after spending 50 days in jail
New Delhi: Being with you makes me feel so happy. I promised to visit you shortly. I would want to start by asking for Lord Hanuman’s blessings. I’m in front of you because of his blessings. I want to express my gratitude to everyone who sent me blessings. I am here today because of the Supreme Court judges, and for that I am grateful. We must prevent a dictatorship in the nation… I am fighting dictatorship, but 140 crore others must also resist it. We’re going to get together tomorrow at 11 a.m. at Hanuman Mandir in Connaught Place, and at 1 p.m., we’re going to have a news conference,” Mr. Kejriwal stated.
