Mumbai : It was a surprise no one saw coming — K-Pop sensation Jackson Wang landed straight on the stage of Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3 and lit it up like only he can.
On his second trip to India, Jackson made a stop at The Great Indian Kapil Show, as a superfan of the show. The crowd went wild when he sang a few lines from his hit track GBAD, leaving the audience cheering and wanting more. Never one to miss a poetic moment, Navjot Singh Sidhu welcomed Jackson in true Sidhu style, “Mehmaan jo humara hota hai woh jaan se pyaara hota hai. But that was just the beginning of the cultural exchange. Jackson took over the stage and taught Kapil and the episode’s guests — Jaideep Ahlawat, Vijay Varma, Jeetendra Kumar and Pratik Gandhi — a signature dance step. Even Archana Puran Singh joined in on the fun, learning the move with the rest of the gang.
In return, Pratik Gandhi introduced Jackson to garba, and Jackson picked it up like a pro. Kapil wasn’t far behind — stepping in to teach him some classic bhangra moves. And Jackson? True to his K-Pop idol roots, he nailed every step with style and ease. It was a moment that blended cultures, cracked jokes, and brought global fandom to the TGIKS stage — and Jackson’s surprise appearance is sure to be one of the season’s most talked-about highlights.
