Shibasish Sarkar Re-Elected as President of the Producers Guild of India for the Fourth Consecutive Term
Mumbai : Shibasish Sarkar has been unanimously re-elected as President of the Producers Guild of India for a fourth consecutive term at the 71st Annual General Meeting (AGM), held in Mumbai on September 26, 2025.
The AGM also witnessed the re-election of Manish Goswami, Madhu Bhojwani, ┬аAashish Singh, Dipti Kotak, and Ankur Garg as Vice Presidents, while Ashim Samanta and Fazila Allana were re-elected as Treasurers. At the meeting, Sarkar shared with members an overview of the emerging Media & Entertainment landscape and the key challenges and opportunities before content producers. Members were also presented with updates on key activities and developments at the Guild during the past year and discussed priorities for the coming year. Thanking members for the confidence reposed in him, Shibasish Sarkar, President of the Producers Guild of India, said:
“I am deeply honoured to have received this mandate from my peers to serve as President of the Guild for a fourth year. I am. acutely conscious of the unparalleled legacy that the Guild has built over more than 7 decades and it will be my humble endeavor to continue to serve the interests of our members- the content producing fraternity.тАЭ
