The Film Critics Guild and GroupM Motion Entertainment

Mumbai – The 7th Critics’ Choice Awards, hosted by the Film Critics Guild, GroupM Motion Entertainment, and Vistas Media Capital with support from Sony Liv, honored the best in Indian cinema, recognizing achievements in feature films, short films, documentaries, and web series.

Winners

Nocturnes won Best Documentary for its stunning visuals and storytelling. In feature films, All We Imagine As Light took Best Film, while Diljit Dosanjh and Darshana Rajendran won Best Actor and Best Actress for Amar Singh Chamkila and Paradise. Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress were awarded to Ravi Kishan and Kani Kusruti.

Web Series Dominates

Poacher won Best Web Series, and Richie Mehta was named Best Director. Barun Sobti and Nimisha Sajayan claimed Best Actor and Best Actress for Raat Jawaan Hai and Poacher.

Short Films and Talent Recognition

Obur won Best Short Film, with Harish Khanna and Jyoti Dogra earning Best Actor and Best Actress for Jal Tu Jalaal Tu and Taak (Tracker).

Extraordinary Contribution to Cinema

The Women in Cinema Collective (WCC) received the Extraordinary Contribution to Cinema Award for their work in promoting gender equality in the Malayalam film industry.
