Released under his independent label THROAN OF ART MUSIC, the Hindi romantic R&B-pop track explores the beautiful space between love and friendship — that feeling of finding someone who gradually becomes your closest friend, confidant and partner in life.
Composed and sung by Thomson Andrews, with music by Adroit and lyrics by Anushree Gupta, the song also carries a global visual identity. Its upcoming music video was shot entirely in Amsterdam, bringing together the emotional world of an Indian romantic song with an international backdrop.

I have always believed that music does not really need a passport. An emotion can begin in one part of the world and still find a home in another. ‘Koi Aisi Yaar Bane’ came from that thought. It is an Indian song, created by Indian artists, but the emotion at its heart is something everyone can understand — finding that person who becomes your friend, your confidant, your companion and eventually someone who holds a very special place in your life.”
He adds, “Shooting the music video in Amsterdam made the experience even more meaningful for me.
