Mumbai: MK Anand CEO and MD, Times Network has decided to move on from the organisation. Sources close to the development have confirmed the news to Adgully. He has held the position of MD & CEO at Times Network since February 2014. It is learnt that AnandтАЩs movement is due to his management contract term coming to an end. As part of the transition, he is working on disengaging with the mandates that he was holding at Times Network.
Anand has close to three decades of experience in Media тАУ including Broadcast, Digital and Print. Several of these years have been in the Top Management, which included CEO of UTV Broadcasting; MD, Disney Media Networks India, among others. Anand joined UTV before the companyтАЩs acquisition by Disney as the CEO of UTV Broadcasting in 2009. Back then, he headed Bindass, UTV Movies, Bindass Movies (later UTV Action) and UTV World Movies. Post the acquisition, the group also launched UTV Stars as a Bollywood news and entertainment channel.
