Mumbai: Colors of Love – Queer Film Festival is set to return from 13th to 15th February, during Valentine Week, celebrating the diversity of love through cinema. The festival brings together powerful queer stories from across the world, creating a space for. visibility, dialogue, and community through film.
Speaking about the festival, Gary Panjabi, Festival Director, said, “Colors of Love is our way of celebrating love in all its forms. During Valentine Week, we invite audiences to experience stories that are honest, bold, and deeply human, told through the lens of queer cinema from around the world.” This year’s edition will screen 50 films from 18 countries, featuring an impressive lineup of
premieres:
● 1 World Premiere
● 13 Asian Premieres
● 5 South Asian Premieres
● 4 Indian Premieres
The festival is curated by FilmyBees Cine Club, a film club known for hosting film screenings and festivals that celebrate cinema across genres — from experimental and independent films to powerful LGBTQ+ stories. Highlighting the importance of the festival, Aditya Raj, Director of FilmyBees Cine Club, shared,

“Colors of Love is more than a film festival for us — it is a platform where queer voices are seen, heard, and celebrated with respect and honesty.” Colors of Love – Queer Film Festival is supported by The Humsafar Trust under the Unnati Project, a CSR initiative of Dorf Ketal Chemicals India Ltd.. The support strengthens the festival’s mission to promote inclusion, equality, and representation through the arts. The festival promises three days of meaningful cinema, cultural exchange, and celebration — making it a significant Valentine Week destination for film lovers and the LGBTQ+ community alike.
