Mumbai: Actress Nausheen Ali Sardar who is known for her shows like Kkusum,Meri Doli Tere Angana,Barsatein Mausam Pyaar Ka and her recent show Vasudha, recently appeared as a guest on the podcast Veda Speaks, produced by Paparaazi Entertainment, where she opened up about her spiritual journey and the questions that shaped her inner world. Speaking candidly about her early thoughts, the actress reflected on how her curiosity about religion began at a very young age.
She says, “As a child, I used to honestly think, why so many Gods? If Adam and Eve were one, then why so many religions? Even as a kid, I would wonder about these things. I would also think, why is someone suffering and why is someone successful?”

She adds that this search for answers continued into her college years. “When I was in college, I used to go everywhere. I went to Gurudwaras, I went to temples, I went to different places just to understand what my calling was and where I really connected. But I got no clear answers at that time,” she shares.
The turning point, she says, came during one of the darkest phases of her life. “It was only when my father passed away and I went through a very dark period that I found this book called Laws of the Spirit World. That book gave me a lot of answers,” she reveals.
Nausheen clarifies that her beliefs are personal and not meant to impose on anyone else. She says, “I’m not saying that it is right for everyone. But it worked for me, and that’s what matters.”
She further adds, “I consider myself a very spiritual person because every religion—whether it’s Islam, Hinduism, or Catholicism—only talks about one thing: be a good human being.”
