Mumbai –┬аflybig a scheduled commuter airline operating under the UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik) Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) has announced plans to increase its national footprint and operational network, adding 3 more cities viz. Indore, Gondia and Hyderabad, taking the total number of operational cities in its network from 8 to 11 flybig launched its services in the North East in the second week of May 2021. Currently it operates across 4 states and 8 destinations including Kolkata (West Bengal), Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Lilabari, Rupsi (all in Assam), Agartala (Tripura) as well as Passighat & Tezu (Arunachal Pradesh). flybig has a fleet comprising of ATR 72-500 and ATR 72-600 aircraft with a total 20 daily operational flights.
Commenting on the new destination launch and network expansion, Capt. Sanjay Mandavia, CMD flybig, said, тАЬit is flybig constant endeavour to rapidly expand capacity and build a strong pan-national regional commuter network in the untapped air travel markets of India. We are launching new routes in the heart of India тАУ viz. Indore in MP, Gondia in Maharashtra, and Hyderabad in Telangana to further augment this.

It will have a tremendous impact on the economy of the Bhandara – Gondia districts and adjoining regions, promoting tourism, economic and business activity as well as in generating much-needed affordable connectivity to not just our districts but all immediate neighbouring districts of the Vidarbha and Eastern Maharashtra region.

flybig is promoted by Gurugram – based Big Charter Private Limited, led by its visionary Capt. Sanjay Mandavia CMD, flybig. The airline is focused on connecting tier-2 and tier 3 cities within India.
flybig sees itself as an important industry partner to the Government of India. The scheduled commuter airline has planned to induct five aircraft by the end of March 2022, offering more than 75,000 seats at peak capacity across 15 approved routes.
