Mumbai: Known for bringing depth and grace to her roles as Gaumata in Kamdhenu Gaumata and Sudha Maami in Binddii, actress Harleen Reikhi is not only admired for her acting but also for her grounded, spiritual outlook on life.
“Heartfelt gestures always mean more to me than expensive gifts,” says Harleen. “Money can impress you once or twice, but small thoughtful acts make life truly meaningful.”
One such gesture that deeply touched her came from a fan. “A fan made a sketch of me as both Sudha Maami and Sita Mata. It took them days to complete. That kind of effort and emotion stays with you forever.”

Despite working in an industry where appearances and status often take center stage, Harleen stays rooted. “Yes, the entertainment world sometimes pressures you to ‘look successful,’ but humility and groundedness are very important. Success means nothing if it takes away your simplicity.” When asked what kind of giving matters most to her, she answers thoughtfully, “For me, emotional presence always comes first. Material things fade, but emotional connections stay with you.”The actress also believes in expressing gratitude for the simplest things. “We often take food, air, light, and water for granted. But if we look deeper, these aren’t equally available to everyone. True contentment lies in appreciating what you already have.”
