Instagram is naturally a big part of my routine: Apoorv Kansal

Mumbai: Digital creator Apoorv Kansal, who is currently seen in the reality show The Society, actively uses Instagram. He said, “As a social media influencer, Instagram is naturally a big part of my routine. I check it regularly for posting content, interacting with followers, and staying updated with trends.”
“But I also try to make sure it doesn’t consume my entire day. It’s important to use the platform as a tool rather than letting it control your time,” he added.
He stressed that people’s personal and professional lives have become intertwined with these platforms. He said, “Today, many conversations, collaborations, and even career opportunities happen through platforms like Instagram and WhatsApp. For influencers and creators, these apps are not just social platforms but also professional tools. So in many ways, our personal and professional worlds have become connected through them.” Apoorv also mentioned that social media has changed how people measure success, happiness, or popularity. He said, “I think it has influenced how people perceive success and popularity. Sometimes people start comparing their lives with what they see online, forgetting that social media usually shows only the highlights.”

“Success and happiness are much deeper than followers or likes, and it’s important for people to remember that real life is much bigger than what appears on a screen,” he added.
Asked what is the healthiest way to engage with social media while maintaining balance in real life, he said, “Treat social media as a tool, not as your entire identity. Use it to express yourself, learn, connect, and create opportunities, but don’t let it define your self-worth.”
“It’s also important to spend time offline—with family, friends, hobbies, and personal growth. When you maintain that balance, social media can actually become a very positive and empowering space,” Apoorv ended.
