Latika strongly represents the bold, dominant, and confident traits of a Leo: Garvita Sadhwani on her character in Jabb Zodiacs Met

Mumbai: Garvita Sadhwani plays the role of Latika in Ishika Shahi’s new web series titled Jabb Zodiacs Met. It revolves around the 12 zodiac signs and their influence on an individual’s life. Produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut Production and streams on their official YouTube channel.
Talking about her character, Garvita said, “She is very modern, very strong-headed, and extremely opinionated. She is a businesswoman who sees life in a certain way and is very rigid when it comes to changing her opinions. What makes her journey interesting is how love enters her life and slowly changes her perspective.”

“In real life, I relate much more to my Taurus traits, being emotional, loyal, grounded, and romantic, while Latika strongly represents the bold, dominant, and confident traits of a Leo,” she added.
She calls herself an old-school romantic when it comes to love and says, “I truly believe in karmic connections, cosmic connections, and destiny. There is one thing that I always keep telling my friends: that in life, you can work hard to achieve almost anything. You can work hard for your career, you can work hard for money, you can work hard to stay healthy, and you can work hard to maintain a good family life. But there is only one thing you cannot work hard for, and that is finding your partner.”
“You cannot step out on the road asking, ‘Where is that person? Where is that person?’ It does not work like that. When you will meet the right person, how you will meet them, and who that person will be—all of that is destiny. It is karmic. It is cosmic. And that has a lot to do with horoscopes, which is also the running concept of the show,” she added.
She stressed that Jabb Zodiacs Met talks about relationships in a very honest and modern way. She said, “It explores concepts like hookups, relationships, situationships, and breakups, things that we do not really talk about openly in other mediums. There are so many meet-cutes and coincidences in the story.”
“Sometimes you are with someone, but it does not work out, and life takes you in a completely different direction. Working on this show made me understand how today’s generation views relationships and compatibility, and how emotional alignment matters just as much as love,” she added.
A true believer in stars and Zodiacs, she shared that if the stars could guide her next role, she would love to explore characters that are emotionally layered and different from what she usually portrays. She said, “Roles that challenge me creatively and allow me to explore deeper human emotions.”
Garvita concluded with praising Ishika. She said, “I have worked with Rajan sir on two shows, and whenever Rajan sir or his team calls me for a project, I never think twice before saying yes. But when Ishika came to me, I was very pleasantly surprised. She truly represents the new wave of talent—whether it is in producing, writing, or storytelling. The story she has written is beautiful, fresh, and extremely modern.”
“As a Gen Z myself, I related to it instantly. I know for a fact that many people from my generation will connect with this show because we strongly believe in horoscopes, meet-cutes, and coincidences. There are so many relatable moments in the story—timing, chance meetings, relationships that do not work out, and emotional overlaps,” she added.
She confessed that she is happy that Ishika trusted her with the role and wanted her on board. “I was truly happy to play Latika Shergill, and I feel grateful to be part of a show that speaks not only to Gen Z but also to millennials and everyone else,” she ended.
