Life can change in an instant, without warning or permission: Sharmila Cirvante on Ajit Pawar’s death

Mumbai: Natural-born psychic, certified spiritual healer, automatic writer, and spirit guide communicator Sharmila Cirvante was saddened to hear the news of the death of Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister, Ajit Pawar, who died on January 28. She feels that the news was a reminder of the uncertainty of life.
She said, “As the news broke, so did the country. For many, this will be the kind of headline that shakes us, not because it’s distant, but because it’s the reminder we tend to forget. That life can change in an instant, without warning or permission.”
“It forces us to ask: do such tragic events truly make us pause and re-evaluate our priorities? Or do we simply share a few condolences and rush back to the madness we call life?” she added.
Sharmila asserted when someone dies suddenly, it spotlights a simple truth that we spend too much time chasing what’s next. She said, “We rush towards goals, promotions, ambitions, and milestones, always preparing for the future, always blindly believing there will be later. What if there isn’t?”
“Sudden loss tends to make us question not just how we live, but why we live the way we do. We question whether achievements, power, or public life are really the measures of a meaningful existence, or is it the quieter, less publicised moments, the love shown to family, integrity displayed in choices made under pressure, and compassion shown to other, that matter most?” she added.
She feels in times like this, what lingers are the relationships we forge and the impact we have on the lives around us. “Pawar’s work touched many, from colleagues who described him as straightforward and dedicated to citizens who shared memories of his public service. And yet, beyond politics and public office, there were deeper connections,” she said.
“Behind the headlines are a family in mourning and friends adjusting to an absence. Unpredictable tragedies like this also remind us of a broader truth: time is fragile, and none of us are guaranteed a tomorrow,” she added.
Sharmila believes the most lasting legacy we can hope for is not defined by titles or achievements, but by how much we were present, how much we gave, and how fully we lived.”Ajit Pawar’s death is a loss for Maharashtra, for his family, and for a community that saw in him both strengths and flaws. But if this moment pushes even one of us to cherish life more deeply, to connect more meaningfully with others, and to pause before ticking the next item off life’s checklist, then perhaps the sadness can teach us something invaluable. Because if there’s one thing this tragedy reminds us, it’s this: life doesn’t wait. And neither should we,” Sharmila ended.
