Rajan Shahi performs Havan on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Sets; Reaffirms Armaan and Abhira as the Show’s Leads

Mumbai: Producer Rajan Shahi of Shahi Productions and Director’s Kut Productions recently organised a special havan on the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as a gesture of gratitude and to seek blessings for the continued success, prosperity and happiness of the entire team. The ceremony was attended by the show’s cast, crew and the newly joined actors, marking the beginning of a fresh phase in the long-running drama.
Speaking about the occasion, Rajan Shahi said, “I am thankful to the leads Armaan, Abhira, Rohit and Samridhii, and to the entire cast, crew and every team member who has taken the show so brilliantly forward. We are simply infusing new characters and new energy into the show.”
He further explained that the havan was organised in keeping with the production house’s long-standing tradition of seeking divine blessings before embarking on new journeys.
“Shahi Productions and Director’s Kut Productions have always believed in taking the Almighty’s blessings. This special havan was performed to thank God for everything we have achieved and to pray for the team’s prosperity, happiness and continued success. It was also a way of welcoming the new actors who have joined the show,”* he shared.
Addressing the ongoin discussions around the show’s evolving storyline, Rajan Shahi clarified that while new characters are being introduced to enrich the narrative, the central focus of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai remains unchanged.
“This show is about Armaan and Abhira. They are the leads of the show. The new additions are bringing fresh energy and creating a new synergy, but Armaan and Abhira continue to remain at the heart of the story,”* he stated.
The producer added that the ceremony reflected the team’s collective gratitude and optimism as the show enters an exciting new chapter, with the entire cast and crew coming together to celebrate the journey and seek blessings for what lies ahead.
