Shannon K gears up for her big Bolly debut with “Chal Zindagi” 

Mumbai : An avid believer of ‘Quality over Quantity’, celebrated global singing sensation Shannon K is all set to make her acting debut in Bollywood with “Chal Zindagi” , directed by Vivek Sharma in Vivaan films production. Shannon will be seen essaying a pivotal role of a music student from America named Sana. Taking to her Instagram handle, she dropped the short clip in which she could be seen riding a bike with a kid sitting at the back. Insisting that her foray into the world of acting was not a flash-in-the-pan decision, she has acted in plays as a child and later joined prestigious Lee Strasberg Acting institute. Shannon K says “I am excited and looking forward to this new journey. I have done plays for school in the US, it is one of my passions apart from singing and I was always willing to work with Lt Irfaan Khan Sir, Anupam Kher Sir, Sanjay Mishra Sir. When Chal Zindagi was offered to me, I was overjoyed because my role of Sana is a music student in the US who comes to India to connect with her roots, is what convinced me to be a part of this project. I am excited but equally nervous. People have seen and loved me as a singer, I hope they like me as an actor too”
The upfront amazing singer has triumphed upon the hearts of millions with chartbuster songs to her credit. Shannon has worked with some of the biggest names across the globe. She released a single with Poo Bear in 2018, “A Long Time”. Also, “Give Me Your Hand with David Arquette, Ed Westwick, Chrissie Fit, Brittany Snow , Kyle Townsend which was based on anti bullying. She has won Hollywood Music Award for this one.
The story of the film revolves around the protagonists – Sana who is a music student from America, goes to India to connect with roots of folk music, Sahil who is a college student, Sadanand who is a retired government employee, and 10-year-old folk artist Chotu. One day all of them start their journeys from different cities on Harley Davidson bikes to the highest motorable road in the world in Leh-Ladakh. Film will be released in May, date is not set yet. it also stars Vivek Dahiya, Sanjay Mishra, Mita Vashist, Vivaan Sharma and Vikram Singh in prominent roles.
