Smriti Irani to attend Davos 2026 during World Economic Forum Week: Dialogues to “strengthening cross-sector partnerships that endure beyond Davos”
Mumbai: Politics, entertainment, and purpose rarely intersect with the intensity seen in the journey of Smriti Irani. Today, wherever the conversation matters—on screen, on the ground, or on the global stage—she is present, making the right efforts and creating visible impact. What we are witnessing is not just a return, but a powerful continuum of influence. From creating historic comeback with Kyunkii 2.0, a renewed cultural moment that reconnects audiences with her iconic television legacy, to her presence at TIME100 New York, Smriti Irani seamlessly bridges popular culture and global leadership – now, at Davos in January.
Smriti Irani established the Alliance for Global Good – Gender Equity and Equality to move gender equity decisively from advocacy to execution, embedding it within economic and institutional systems. At Davos 2026, Irani marks three years since establishing the Alliance, and the three-year body of work finds expression through the WE Lead Lounge. Through platforms such as the WE Lead Lounge, the thought and policy-leader has transformed dialogue into direction—aligning policy, capital, and capability to deliver measurable outcomes at scale with global partnerships across sectors.
As Chairperson of the Alliance for Global Good, Smriti Irani now takes this vision to Davos 2026, where she will engage with global leaders at the WE Lead Lounge – 20th to 22nd January for strategic dialogues and impactful partnerships.
Sharing the post on her official office handle, she captioned, “As Chairperson of the Alliance for Global Good, I look forward to engaging with global leaders at the WE Lead Lounge at #Davos2026.
Global advancement in its new paradigm extends beyond the mobilisation of wealth, calling for foresight, collaboration, and inclusion. Through the WE Lead Lounge, the Alliance builds on its strategic engagements with over 5,000 international delegations and 12,000 industry partners to advance conversations that move from intent to implementation.
In collaboration with the Gates Foundation, the Women Collective Forum, and the Confederation of Indian Industry, the WE Lead Lounge will host 12+ strategic dialogues, bringing together global institutions including Deloitte, Bain, Kearney, The Adecco Group, Bank of America, and Vital Voices to deliberate on economic resilience, workforce preparedness, and next-generation growth, strengthening cross-sector partnerships that endure beyond Davos.”
