UNN: Celebrating tradition with grace and warmth, noted poet and public figure Dr. Kumar Vishwas marked the auspicious festival of Teej with an intimate gathering at his daughter Agrata Sharma’s residence, as she celebrated her first Teej after her wedding with Pavitra Khandelwal.The ceremony was made even more special with the presence of Union Minister Smriti Irani, who joined the family in the festive rituals. In a heartwarming gesture, she showered petals on the newlyweds and participated in the traditional jhula ceremony – a symbolic ritual that marks the joy and devotion associated with Teej.
“It was my daughter’s first Teej after her wedding, and having my sister Smriti here to bless the newlyweds made it all the more special,” said poet and politician Dr. Kumar Vishwas
