The concept, production, direction, and choreography of “Sambhavami Yuge Yuge” have all been handled by Sanskruti herself, and the dance drama is now receiving an equally warm response from Indian audiences. Recently, the first-ever housefull Indian show of “Sambhavami Yuge Yuge” was held in Pune. Audiences were mesmerized by Sanskruti’s portrayal of Lord Krishna.
Speaking about the experience, Sanskruti says “We performed the first show of Sambhavami Yuge Yuge in Dubai, where the audience was completely different. But when we decided to stage the show on our own soil in Pune, there was a certain amount of pressure. Over the years, the discerning audience here has showered immense love on every role I’ve played, and they gave even more love to my portrayal of Lord Krishna in Sambhavami Yuge Yuge.
Seeing the different forms of Lord Krishna that I portrayed gave them a unique experience as well. Some audience members came up to me after the show with beautiful feedback, while some even bowed at my feet. One elderly gentleman told me that this show helped them experience Krishna more closely, while an elderly lady said the show is of international standards—such high praise. Presenting a self-produced creation on my home ground came with its own nervousness, but the love and support shown by the people of Pune truly overwhelmed me.”
The journey of “Sambhavami Yuge Yuge,” which began in Dubai, is now set to reach various locations across India. At the same time, actress Sanskruti Balgude is expected to be seen in many more diverse roles in the coming days.
