UNN: Indian Style Wrestling Association have been recognized as National Sports.
A Special General Body Meeting was held on 20-3-2021 at Guru Munni Akhara, Punchkuian Road, New Delhi. The following member were present for the meeting:

The initiative of the Government Recognition has been taken up by Federation, Architect and Pioneer, late Mr. Roshan Lal, Dronacharya Awardee, Former Secretary General of the Association.
Various burning issues for smooth functioning of association at world level were discussed. The Association members in this meeting committed to meet norms and expectation of the Ministry of Sports
The Indian Style Wrestling Association said that the Ministry of Sports has granted recognition to the body as a National Sport Federation under which they will be eligible to enjoy benefits like other National Federations.
