My mother is both a remedy and a blessing in my life: Rhythm Sanadhya
Mumbai: Rhythm Sanadhya, who is a popular song director and has worked with singers and artists like Shahid Mallya, Jubin Nautiyal, and Asees Kaur, among others, and directed Har Safar Mein from Kapil Sharma’s movie Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, among others, shares a very close bond with her mother. She calls her mother a blessing and feels grateful for the encouragement and support she has been for her.
Speaking on the occasion of Mother’s Day, which will be celebrated on May 10, she said, “One person who is truly aware of my deepest thoughts and emotions and who understands me even when I try to hide my feelings. She senses exactly what I am going through through her intuition. My mother is both a remedy and a blessing in my life. To me, she is the embodiment of God.”
“My mother is a very active woman. I have never seen her sit idle. She is always learning new things on her own and has a very dynamic personality. She is incredibly kind and always willing to help people, even strangers. She goes out of her way to support others without expecting anything in return. I am truly grateful to say that she is not only a mother to me but also a motherly figure to many souls,” she added.

For her, every day belongs to her mother. She said, “She is the one who saves the day in countless ways. I believe this feeling is universal. Mother’s Day is simply an official way of honoring mothers for their unconditional love, care, and sacrifices, though I believe they deserve to be appreciated in every moment of our lives.”
While she celebrates each and every moment with her mother, she cherishes one particular memory from her childhood summers. She said, “After coming home from school in the heat, it felt so comforting to see my mother waiting for me and my sister. She would feed us rajma chawal with her own hands. I still vividly remember the sound of her bangles clinking, her warm smile, and the sense of satisfaction on her face. Those little moments brought us immense comfort and solace.”
Seeing her mother establish her business and work every day, Rhythm realized the sacrifices her mother made. She said, “I have seen my mother working on her business since my childhood, yet there was never a moment when she failed to pay attention to her children. She is the true embodiment of an empowered woman who knows how to balance her work, family, and social life beautifully. She makes sure to spend time with her children every single day and impart valuable lessons and knowledge to us. I have also seen her nurturing a loving relationship with my father and maintaining strong bonds with the rest of the family. That is something truly worth learning from her.”
She further revealed that her mother has faced many ups and downs in her business, but she has always remained determined to succeed. “Even today, I continue to learn from her never-give-up attitude and unwavering strength. We truly understood her sacrifice when she chose to put her business aside during our teenage years. She believed it was more important to be a friend to her daughters, and from then on, she devoted so much of her time to us,” Rhythm ended.
Asked if there was something she wished she could have told her mother more often, she said, “I wish I could truly express my gratitude and respect for her. I want her to know that she is an extraordinary woman, someone whose heart holds infinite love and kindness for everyone around her.”
Rhythm calls her mother a “devi” and a guiding light in her life. “She is our pole star, constantly leading us with strength, warmth, and wisdom. I only wish for her to continue being the beautiful soul she is and never change, because the world becomes brighter simply through her presence,” she ended.
