For Aanandita Sahoo, who brings the character of Satyaa to life in Sun Neo’s show Satyaa Sachee, acting was one such dream that quietly lived in her heart long before it became a reality.
Speaking about her journey, Aanandita shares, “Ever since I was a child, I dreamed of becoming an actor. I never imagined that one day I would actually pursue it, or whether my family would even support me. But deep inside, I always had this passion. I remember spending hours in front of the mirror, watching TV shows and imitating the actors I admired. Whenever I saw someone’s performance that inspired me, I would try to recreate it, feel their emotions, and express them in my own little way. Acting was like a secret world where I could be anyone, and it fascinated me endlessly.”
She further added, “Growing up, my parents and everyone at home constantly asked me to focus on my studies. “Study, study, study!” was all I heard. At that time, I never thought I would step into the world of television or make acting a career. But slowly, step by step, that childhood passion started turning into reality. Today, when I look back, I realize those quiet moments in front of the mirror and my little dreams shaped the path I am walking on. Acting is no longer just a dream it’s my life, my joy, and my way of expressing myself.”
